Florida Republicans Slam Democrats for Supporting No Kings Protests

Florida Republicans slammed Democrats and FDP Chair Nikki Fried for supporting the “No Kings” protests and said the Florida Democratic Party is collapsing.

Republican Party of Florida Chairman Evan Power blasted Florida Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried for promoting the weekend’s “radical No Kings protests targeting President Trump.” The Republican Party Chair said his rival party chair should be addressing her party’s “ongoing implosion” instead.

“While Nikki Fried is busy supporting far-left radical protests, her party just lost three elections,” Republican Chairman Power said about recent special elections. “She’s helped destroy the Florida Democrat Party — it’s now a political graveyard.”

The “No Kings” protests were scheduled in cities across the country, including Florida. Republicans said the protests were planned just as violent anti-ICE protests erupted in Los Angeles. They said FDP Chair Fried, copying California Governor Gavin Newsom, encouraged Floridians to join.

“Clearly an attempt to bring chaos and disruption to our state during the Army’s Birthday, Flag Day, and President Donald J. Trump’s birthday. A time where we should be patriotic and honoring our heroes,” the Republican Party of Florida said.

Chairman Evan Power called the protests divisive and un-American. Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried tweeted “America rejects Kings!” The Florida Democratic Party said across the country and across the Sunshine State, people were standing up to authoritarianism and defending democracy.

“This is why Democrats have lost Florida,” Republican Party Chair Power. “They don’t understand that Floridians want safety, not chaos. We want a secure border, law and order, and leaders who respect this country — not those who rally mobs.”

Governor Ron DeSantis had vowed Florida will uphold the rule of law, warning any violence or vandalism would be met with swift prosecution, but there did not appear to be any major problems from the many large Democratic turnouts. But the Republicans aren’t worried about the protest politically.

“We’re now a Red state for a reason,” Chairman Power added. “Republicans now outnumber Democrats by 1.3 million because voters are done with this nonsense.”

  1. This article is SLANDER. The No Kings Protests that took place around the State of Florida were an expression of our First Amendment Rights both Freedom of Assembly and Freedom to peacefully protest against the criminal and Anti-Constitutional activity of the second Trump Administration. There were zero instances of violence or violent intent by these protests yet this article tries to frame them as such. That is an outright lie.

  2. The five freedoms protected by the First Amendment are: freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom to assemble, and the right to petition the government. These freedoms are fundamental to a democratic society and ensure the ability to express oneself, share ideas, and participate in civic life

  4. The very principle of a Democracy is to allow for protests and earnest debate which “Repugnicants” aka Maga Republicans despise unless it is to tear down Our Government in every manner. As well, their vision promises to be control from thought to action while solely furthering their own.
