Florida Man Won $3 Million Jackpot Playing Lotto Draw Game

The Florida Lottery recently announced that Guy Larson, of Lake City, claimed the $3 million Florida Lotto jackpot from the March 29th drawing.




The North Florida man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,647,453.

The winner purchased his jackpot-winning Florida Lotto ticket from Murphy USA, located at 2659 W. U.S. Hwy. 90 in Lake City. The retailer received a bonus commission of $25,000 for selling the winning ticket.

He claimed his winning prize at at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.




Since its inception in 1988, Florida Lotto has awarded more than $11 billion in prizes, created 1,103 millionaires, and generated over $8.54 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).

Florida Lottery game drawings are broadcast on 15 carrier stations throughout the state. Winning numbers are available on the Florida Lottery’s website, on the Lottery’s free mobile app for iOS and Android users, at any authorized Florida Lottery retailer, and by calling (850) 921-PLAY (7529).
