Florida Dolphin Tours Launches New City Sightseeing Orlando Service

Florida Dolphin Tours, a statewide sightseeing and tour company, has acquired franchise rights in the city of Orlando for “City Sightseeing,” the world-leading open-top bus tour operation based in Seville, Spain. For over 20 years, FDT has operated tour and excursion packages throughout the state of Florida with a focus on offering family friendly outings that deliver “the other side of Florida” experiences such as swimming with dolphins and manatees, airboat Everglade Adventures, Kennedy Space tours and VIP dining excursions.

“When families experience the other side of Florida with FDT, they really get a chance to engage with the natural beauty, history and adventure our state offers,” said Andy James, FDT CEO. “We enjoy consistent high marks with our customer reviews and we’re proud to offer some of the state’s most exciting wildlife and historical destinations and now an exciting and unique City Sightseeing experience for visitors to the city of Orlando!”

Now Orlando visitors can enjoy what the company calls an ultra-convenient and unique City Sightseeing experience with an FDT focus on professional and customer-friendly service.  Starting in late May, the company’s new City Sightseeing Hop-on Hop-Off Open Top bus service will begin operating and offering 18 stops with routes covering points of interest in the Orlando metro area, such as:

  • Universal Orlando Resort
  • Disney Springs
  • Florida Mall and Premium Outlets
  • PLUS, scheduled shuttles along the International Drive with service to:
  • Pointe Orlando
  • I-Drive 360
  • Orange County Convention Center
  • SeaWorld

FDT City Sightseeing will also provide a daily “Theme Park Express” to provide business and leisure visitors with affordable, convenient transportation to Disney and Universal Theme Parks. The company expects all routes to be fully operational by June 1st. FDT’s City Sightseeing routes will offer a variety of affordable fare options including packages, multi day combo passes and more.

“Our bright red open-top buses are state-of-the-art VanHool models that offer families the ultimate sightseeing experience in a fun, open-air environment,” said Nancy Hartford, Director of Operations.

One-day to fourteen-day combo tickets will be available to meet the needs of all types of travelers. FDT City Sightseeing will offer FREE rides during their route trial runs in late May, according to the company. For online reservations and more information about
