Three men and two women were arrested today, following the raid of a meth lab in Winter Garden, OCSO deputies said. An 18-month infant was also in the building at the time of the raid, which was coordinated by several law enforcement agencies.
According to OCSO:
On February 18th members of OCSO Narcotics Unit, Winter Garden Police Department, and Ocoee Police Department executed a search warrant on a suspected methamphetamine lab at 400 Pennsylvania Avenue in Winter Garden. The investigation was a joint effort among the agencies involved. The residence involved had been the object of similar investigations on two prior occasions in 2008.
In today’s incident, five adults and one 18-month old infant were present. Evidence of an active methamphetamine lab was recovered. The name of the infant is being withheld. The listed individuals are charged accordingly. The investigation is ongoing. The Department Childrens and Families (DCF) was notified and is responding.
