Orange County is hoping to see lots of youth ages 12 and younger, and their families, at Blanchard Park’s free Fish4Fun event this Saturday, September 10th.
Local kids ages 12 and younger are invited to participate in Fish4Fun, a free catch-n-release event at Blanchard Park, 2451 N. Dean Road, Orlando, on Saturday, September 10th. No pre-registration is required, as day-of-event registration begins at 7:30am.
Fishing begins at 8am and winners will be recognized at 10am. Residents are encouraged to bring their own fishing gear if you have it; family and friends are welcome to fish with a registered child. For park information, visit Orange County Parks or call 407-836-6249.
Fish4Fun is a free catch-and-release fishing event for kids that takes place at four parks around Orange County at different times:
- Saturday, September 10th: Blanchard Park, 2451 N. Dean Rd., Orlando
- Saturday, September 17th: Bear Creek Recreation Complex, 1600 Bear Crossing Dr., Orlando
- Saturday, September 24th: Barnett Park, 4801 W. Colonial Dr., Orlando
- Sunday, September 25th: Bithlo Park, 18501 Washington Ave., Orlando
