With more than 3,000 students registered as homeless in Orange County alone, Fifth Third Bank will mark May 3, with a major announcement to help local homeless families.
As part of Fifth Third Bank’s on-going commitment to financial wellness in the community, Florida Regional President Karen Dee will join Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to announce the initiative.
The plight of homelessness, particularly among children in Central Florida, recently garnered national media coverage following a 60 Minutes show earlier this year.
Fifth Third Bank and other community partners have developed a solution to address the urgent concerns specified by homeless families.
The details of the initiative will be announced at Fifth Third Bank, Downtown Headquarters, 200 E. Robinson Street, Orlando.
