A teenager was killed following an early morning crash on Apollo Avenue in Osceola County, troopers said.
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said, 19-year-old David Barnes of St. Cloud was heading south on Apollo Avenue when he lost control of his 1997 Chevy, struck a culvert, a mailbox and chain link fence at 5030 Apollo Avenue.
Barnes, who was unrestrained at the time of the crash, was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital, where he died.
The crash occurred just after 1:00 am, on Wednesday.
