A St. Cloud man was killed by a semi as he walked on US 192 on Sunday night just after 8:30 p.m.
Florida Highway Patrol said, Andrew Bensabat, 47, was walking on the paved portion of the roadway, east of Pine Grove Road, when he was struck and killed by a semi that had drifted toward the shoulder. The right diesel tank/step area struck Bensabat.
Bensabat was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital where he died of his injuries.
Luis Viteri Vega, 36, was driving the semi on US 192, in the right through lane.
The crash remains under investigation and troopers said, charges are pending.
