FHP: Orlando Motorcyclist Dies After Oncoming Car Turns into Path

A 27-year-old Orlando motorcyclist died Saturday night, after a driver heading north on Alafaya Trail turned into his direct path, Florida Highway Patrol said.

Kevin Anderson, of Orlando, was traveling south on Alafaya Trail when 23-year-old James Miron, of Boca Raton, traveling north on Alafaya Trail, attempting to make a left onto Pasteur Drive and drove into his direct path.

Anderson’s 2001 Suzuki motorcycle struck the right side of the 2008 Toyota Miron was driving.

Anderson, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Miron was not injured in the crash, according to the report.

Troopers said the crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.

  1. listen, you people need to get your story correct. you shouldnt put ANY incorrect information out there that you obviously have no clue about. My brother in law DID have his helmet on via police report and autopsy!! He was HIT not him hitting James Miron. So please correct what youve stated!!! Your wrong and its very hurtful that these news people are allowed to put out wrong information! And for James Miron, how is it that you have yet to send out any sympathy for our family! I just dont get it.
