The driver of a Dodge pick-up truck was killed when he lost control and his vehicle overturned, after hitting several trees.
Troopers say, 36-year-old Douglas Hanna, of Malabar, died on the spot on State Road 46, Mullet Lake Park Road, in Seminole County.
The pick-up Hanna was driving traveled off the roadway onto the shoulder and hit several trees, authorities said. After the pick-up hit a large palm tree, it overturned onto its right side.
It is not clear why Hanna left the roadway, but txicology results are being awaited to determine whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash.
Troopers said, the crash occurred around 12:40 a.m. on Saturday.
