Female Body Found Near Missing Mom’s Home in Belle Isle

The body of a woman has been found near the home of a missing mother of twins, but Orange County Sheriff’s deputies have not said yet if the deceased female is that of Michelle Dubois.

On Thursday morning, deputies continued their search for Michelle Dubois, who has been missing since Monday, when mounted units discovered a deceased female along the railroad tracks near Dubois’ home in Belle Isle in South Orange County.

Michelle Dubois, 36, has not been seen since the morning of February 7.  Dubois’ husband told Orange County Sheriff’s deputies that he left their residence around 9:45 a.m. to take their children to daycare and upon his return about forty-five minutes later, his wife was gone.

Mr. Dubois also indicated to deputies that in the past, his wife sometimes would leave home following an argument, but would later return after a couple hours.  On Monday, he indicated that they did have an argument, prior to his leaving home.

Deputies would not speculate on whether the body found today is that of Michelle Dubois, pending proper identification.

Ms. Dubois, is a white female and was last seen wearing a pink sweat shirt and light blue sweat pants.  She is 5’ 3” tall, 120 pounds.  She has blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair.
