Wednesday night the Miami Heat reminded everyone they are the defending world champions.
Ray Allen led the Heat with 21 points as they dismantled the Chicago Bulls 115-78, evening the series at one game a piece.
After the Bulls won game one, questions arose whether or not the Heat were going to lose this series. I think those questions have been answered.
LeBron James scored 13 of his 19 points in the first quarter. James also dished out 9 assists.
“Just wanted to get going early,” James said post game.
One had to assume LeBron and the Heat were going to establish themselves in game two, which they did and got into a great rhythm.
With the series tied 1-1, Bulls All-Star guard Derrick Rose who’s been out for over a year with a torn ankle will have even more pressure on him to return.
Wednesday night was a physical game; 43 fouls were called, 9 techs, 2 ejections and 1 flagrant foul.
For the Bulls to have any chance at winning this series they will have to play physical, but smart. They can’t afford to lose anymore players at this point.
Game four will be in Chicago Friday night, tip off set for 8pm.
