The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding an informational open house regarding a roadway resurfacing project along State Road (SR) 430 affecting the Mason Avenue/Seabreeze Boulevard roadways. The project limits are from Mulberry Street to SR A1A, in the City of Daytona Beach. The project is funded for construction in June 2015. The project includes milling and resurfacing for both eastbound and westbound travel lanes from Mulberry Street to the beginning of the bridge just east of North Beach Street, which affects the Mason Avenue section. It also includes milling and resurfacing for the westbound travel lanes and removal of four (4) on-street parking spaces from the end of the bridge to SR A1A (Atlantic Avenue), which affects the Seabreeze Boulevard portion. Bike lanes, curb ramps, and signalization upgrades are part of the improvements.
The open house is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, 2014, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the El Caribe Resort & Conference Center located at 2125 S. Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach. The meeting will feature display boards and an automated presentation shown from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. FDOT staff and the consulting team will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
The department invites your participation and welcomes your comments on the proposed improvements.
