A man, believed to have victimized dozens of young girls was arrested Thursday, Florida Department of Law Enforcement say.
32-year-old Justin Slavinski is charged with soliciting a minor via the internet to engage in sex, transmission of material harmful to the minor and lewd and lascivious behaviour.
Authorities executed a search warrant on a home on Ravida Woods Drive in Apopka, Florida where Slavinski stayed. Preliminary forensic examination of his computer revealed numerous photographs depicting child pornography, agents say.
Agents have been in touch with as many as 40 young girls in Florida with whom Slavinski was in contact over the internet. An investigation is being undertaken to determine where any crimes were committed with these girls.
Authorities were turned on to Slavinski after a warrant for his arrest was issued out of South Carolina.
Slavinski was booked into the Lake County Jail and is awaiting extradition to South Carolina.
