Police were investigating a recent fatal shooting during a vehicle burglary in Orlando, where the shooter remained on the scene.
A male suspect was shot during a vehicle burglary and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Orlando Police Department released information about the deceased suspect involved in the local shooting at the Summergate Condominiums, 4881 Cypress Woods Drive. The suspect has been identified as Widlerson Pierre by OPD.
On December 26th at approximately 5:18am, Orlando Police responded to the Summergate Condominiums located at 4881 Cypress Woods Drive in reference to a shooting.
A male suspect, now identified as Widlerson Pierre, was shot during a vehicle burglary and was pronounced deceased at the scene. OPD said the shooter remained at the scene.
This remains an active investigation, according to local law enforcement.
