‘Fashion And Hope’ Charity Fashion Show Returns to Winter Park

Fashion and Hope Orlando Winter Park Central FloridaCentral Florida’s hottest fashion show is back and bigger than ever.  Hope for More Foundation’s “Fashion and Hope” (formerly Fashion for Wishes) returns on Saturday, April 16th at The Wellvue in Winter Park, Florida starting at 8pm. Fashion and Hope is a fashion forward event created in 2016 as a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Foundation Chapter of Central & Northern Florida.

The charity fashion show unites Orlando-based boutiques with local makeup and hair stylists showcasing their upcoming spring collections. Local models as well as local celebrities from on-air news anchors to radio emcees walk the runway for this fun night, which is hosted by Orlando Magic In-House Emcee Cori Yarckin.  Proceeds go to Make-A-Wish of Central and Northern Florida and to Hope for More Foundation’s newly launched year-long grant initiative to help homeless youth.  Over the last five years, Fashion and Hope has raised enough money to grant wishes for deserving families, specifically in Central and Northern Florida.

The 2022 Fashion and Hope runway show includes fashions by new featured boutiques: OverChill The Label, House on Lang, Popular Lonely Girl, Chocolate Dolphin, Darling Authority, LaBella Fine Intimates & Clothing, Vylvet Swimwear and Hugo Boss. There will also be returning favorites: Downtown Divas featuring Gabriela Lucia Shoes, Forema, Impeccable Pug, Rich James, Current/John Craig and Claudia Gutierrez Swimwear.  Hair is provided by Leal Marston Salon and makeup by various local artists.

“Hope for More President Jessica Kendrick and I have been working together on various events for years so to officially work on the same foundation just makes it a bonus,” says Fashion and Hope Director JR Tanghal.  “Rebranding the name of the show and joining Hope for More Foundation as a Board Member is a dream come true.  This year’s show is bigger than we ever thought – 15 boutiques and over 50 models with a team of stylists – all donating their time for an amazing cause.  I’m overjoyed with emotion and excitement for what the event will do and what we will do as a foundation in the future.”

Now entering its 4th year, the Hope for More Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by the Kendrick Law Group.  Their mission is to identify and fund outstanding nonprofits in the community to further their efforts in outreach, advocacy and fundraising.  Hope for More Foundation supports organizations with focus on those that improve health and quality of life of sick, ailing or disabled children, improve access to education and resources for advocates and survivors of domestic violence, benefit and support veterans and their families and stabilize, support and provide opportunities for underprivileged children.

This year’s Fashion and Hope proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish of Central & Northern Florida, which grants the wishes of local children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy, and Hope for More Foundation’s grant initiative, which provides direct support to homeless youth without delays to ensure they get in a safe space, a warm meal and back to feeling hope.

Experience “Fashion and Hope” charity fashion show on Saturday, April 16th from 8pm-11pm at The Wellvue located at 2005 Mizell Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32792.  Tickets are $100 General Admission, which includes complimentary cocktails.
