The family of a man who was shot at a car wash on Friday night appealed Wednesday to the public to help them find the killer.
27-year-old Luc Borgazzi, was cleaning his car at 5542 LB Mcleod Road, around 11:45 pm last Friday, when he was shot and killed by a suspect.
Orlando police believe that robbery was the motive for this senseless, random killing.
Luc’s mother, father and brother who just arrived in Orlando from France, made a plea for anyone with information on this murder to come forward.
“I will miss him more than anyone can imagine”, Luc’s brother said, as he struggled with his emotions.
Borgazzi came to Orlando about eight years ago to work at the French pavilion of Epcot. According to his family, Luc loved Orlando so much he decided to remain. All that ended on Friday night when Luc was gunned down. Luc’s family will be taking his body back to France for burial.
Police have not yet released the surveillance video on which the shooting was captured.
Anyone with information should call CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS. Callers may remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward up to $5000.
