According to a local Florida news station, a source close to the Casey Anthony’s family said the “wheels are in motion for that meeting, so the family can mourn Caylee together for a short time.” The same kind of rumor was making the rounds back in January ’08. Back then, as it did today, the Orange County Jail issued a statement contradicting the rumor:
“The Orange County Corrections Department has received no requests and has no plans related to any ‘in-person family visit’ with Casey Marie Anthony. Our agency has no intention of providing any special treatment for inmate Anthony or any inmate in our custody.”
