A 19-year-old Jamaican man stabbed another man to death with a pair of scissors after a physical fight erupted on Tuesday night in front of the Public Library downtown Orlando, detectives of Orlando Police Department said. Bradley Watson, the victim, was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), where he was pronounced dead.
On April 20th around 8:00pm patrol responded to a cutting in front of the Public Library located at 101 E. Central Boulevard. Witnesses say that Denroy Thomas, 19 years and Bradley Watson, 24, got into an argument and physical fight. Again, eye witnesses say that Thomas began stabbling Watson in the neck with a “blade” saying “fuck nigga its time for you to die”. Thomas then fled the scene witnesses say.

When OPD investigators arrived on the scene they found Watson bleeding in the front of the library.
Thomas was found in the vicinity of the Library and involuntary told detectives, “I stabbed him. He punched me in the face and I got to do what I have to do. These people around here know not to mess with me.”
Investigators found a pair of scissors on the ledge where they located Thomas.
Thomas was transported to the Orange County Jail where he remains. He has been charge with Second Degree Murder.
The family of Denroy Thomas sends out their condolence to the family of Bradley Watson, they are truly sorry for their loss, they understand that no words can take away the pain their feeling, but they are truly sorry. They would like the public to know that Denroy was not raised up that way, he was raised in church by two wonderful christian parents, in his late teenage years he could not afford to follow the rules of his home and turn to his friends, his family was unaware of him being homeless because he is not known to share is whereabouts with them, his family was under the impression that he lives with his female partner. All these does not cover for what he has done and his family are truly sorry and their prayers are with Bradley’s family. They do not have enough words to express their sympathy and they pray that god will give Bradley’s family the strenght and the courage to deal with their loss.
