A death photo of the suspected Boston Marathon bomber appeared on-line Sunday afternoon, but the source of the photo remains unclear.
The image is of 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was posted on popular web sites like Reddit and 4chan. Â Seeing a photo of one of the Marathon bombing suspects dead was cathartic, one law enforcement officer who saw the picture said, boston.com reports.
Tamerlan, one of two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing, was killed in a firefight with law enforcement officers early on Friday morning.
Tamerlan’s brother, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was captured hiding out in a boat in the backyard on a home in Watertown, Mass. on Friday night, and remains hospitalized.
