Timothy Davis, Sr.

An ex-Orlando police officer, accused of shooting his son to death last a little over one year ago, faced a judge on Friday morning.

Timothy Davis, Sr., who admitted to shooting his 22-year-old son, Timothy Davis, Jr., in their Apopka home on October 2011, said he acted in self-defence.

Davis’ defense team is asking for immunity under Florida’s “stand your ground” law, cfnews13.com reported.
