Eustis police are hunting for two armed suspects who held up a bank on Monday morning and made of with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Investigators said, two armed men, wearing disguises, entered the BB&T Bank at 2901 South Bay Street in Eustis just before 10:00 am.
One of the suspects jumped over the counter and told all the bank’s employees not to move as he collected money.
The other suspect remained in the lobby area, police said.
The suspects fled the bank in a gold Dodge vehicle, which police located in a church parking lot a few blocks away, with the engine still running.
Police confirmed that the vehicle was stolen from Orlando last Wednesday, May 4th. It is believed that this was the getaway vehicle the suspects used.
At the time of the armed robbery, there were no customers in the bank and police said, there were no injuries to bank employees.
