The City of Eustis elected a new mayor and vice mayor to serve in those positions for 2011 at their Organizational City Commission Meeting on Tuesday.
Commissioner Michael Holland (Seat 3) was elected by the Commission to serve as the Mayor and Commissioner Susan Hooper (Seat 4) was elected to serve as the Vice Mayor of Eustis for 2011.
The oath of office was administered to two newly elected officials by the City Clerk, Commissioner Linda Durham Bob (Seat 1) and Commissioner Kress T. Muenzmay (Seat 2).
The Commission also formally recognized the public service of outgoing Mayor LeHeup-Smith, Seat 2 (January 2007- December 2010) and Commissioner Eckian, Seat 1 (November 2009-December 2010).
