An elderly man was allegedly beaten to death by a 47-year-old man at a Walmart store in Lakewood.
Witnesses say the suspect, who appeared to be homeless, approached a 74-year-old man in the store’s sporting goods section Tuesday and asked if he could spare some change.
That’s when the suspect became upset with the way the elderly man responded and beat him with a baseball bat.
