Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will urge Orlando residents to consider the negative effects of second hand smoke, when he announces a smoke-free resolution later today.
Dyer will read a resolution that seeks to create more smoke-free public places in Orlando and ask community members to avoid smoking in public parks, plazas, squares, sidewarks and outdoor public spaces where children and others commonly play.
Dyer will be joined by District 6, Orlando City Commissioner Sam Ings and the Orange County Health Department in announcing the smoke-free resolution.
