Fifth Third Bank, a proud sponsor of the Orlando Magic, is giving out 5,000 one-of-a-kind Dwight Howard bobble heads as part of a promotion. Customers who open a secured checking account with direct deposit will receive a free figurine of the 6’ 11” NBA All-Star. Dwight Howard attended the kick-off event at the Fifth Third Bank branch at Millenia, where he received his personal limited edition bobble head, along with a contribution to his charity, the D12 Foundation.
“We are pleased to have a strong partnership with Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic and are excited to offer our customers a memorable keepsake for the 2011 season,” said Karen Dee, Florida region president of Fifth Third Bank and former Stetson University women’s basketball Academic All-American. “The mold for this bobble head was made especially for Fifth Third, so fans can’t get it anywhere else. We’re hoping they will bring Dwight and his teammates good luck in the playoffs.”
Fans can pick up the six-inch tall “mini Dwight” simply by opening a secured checking account with direct deposit, with an initial deposit of $100.
In addition to supporting Howard, fans can also make a donation to his recently launched charity, the D12 Foundation, at any Central Florida Fifth Third banking center. The D12 Foundation works with local children’s organizations to establish programs encouraging education, leadership and generosity.
