Orlando police have arrested two suspects who might be connected to a shooting at a RaceTrac Gas Station at 5404 S. Semoran Boulevard on Monday night.

The suspects are Cesar Jairo Oviedo, 19, and Anthony Fonseco, 17. Both have been charged with resisting an officer with violence and not in the shooting incident.

Police arrived at the gas station and found a victim who had been shot in his upper body.

During their investigation, police were led to a third floor apartment at 5298 Commander Drive.

Police attempts to call the suspects out, one of whom is a suspected known gang member, met with negative results.

After about an hour, OPD SWAT was called in and safely took two persons of interest into custody.

Police say, a search of the apartment turned up a small-caliber firearm hidden inside where the suspects were found.

Neighbors who had been evacuated were later allowed back into their apartments.

According to police, Oviedo and Fonseco are documented gang members and both have each been charged with resisting an officer with violence.

Meanwhile, although a shooting occurred at the RaceTrac, no one has been charged as the victim declined to prosecute, after explaining to investigators that it was drug related.

The victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, with non-life threatening injuries.
