A 20-year-old male driver who caused three separate crashes on Interstate-95 on Thursday, was arrested and involuntary committed, troopers say.
Troopers attempted to stop the man who was driving a Blue, 2001 Dodge Minivan at a high rate of speed just after 1:00 p.m., on Interstate 95. But the man fled from troopers and the pursuit was ended.
The mini-van continued northbound and as the man approached mile marker 263, he sideswiped two vehicles and struck a third from behind.
The man, who has not been named, was arrested and involuntary committed under the Baker Act.
One person who suffered minor injures, was transported to a local area hospital, troopers said.
