The Orlando Police Department’s motors unit pulled over a vehicle going 127 mph in the westbound express lanes of I-4, and urged local drivers to slow down. The posted speed limit is 60 mph.
According to local police, the driver was issued a ticket for traveling 50+ mph over the speed limit, which means a mandatory court date to see a judge.
“There is no excuse to ever be going that fast,” OPD reminded drivers. “We urge you to drive safely and follow the posted speed limits!”
