Two women at a bus stop were struck and killed on Silver Star Road Monday night, after a woman lost control of the vehicle she was driving.
Orlando police say, 45-year-old Marjorie Przymusik was heading westbound in a Hyundai SUV in the 4600 block of Silver Star Road, when she lost control of the vehicle and veered onto the north sidewalk. Przymusik struck a LYNX bus stop and two female pedestrians, one of whom was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other woman was taken to a local area hospital in critical condition where she later died.
Police have not released the names of the two women killed; both were in their 20’s.
Przymusik suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation and it has not yet been determined whether alcohol, drugs or high speed, played a role.
The crash happened around 10:45 p.m.
