Troopers have charged the driver of a Nissan with careless driving after he lost control of his vehicle, skating across several driveways and fronts lawns on Suntree Boulevard near Wyndcliff Circle in Orange County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 2004 Nissan driven by Charles R. Pound, 37, of Orlando, was traveling eastbound on Suntree Boulevard around 12:05 pm on Thursday. For unknown reasons, Pound lost control and drove across several driveways and front lawns beginning at 4526 Suntree Boulevard. The vehicle continued to travel eastbound and struck the house located at 4448 Suntree Boulevard. The Nissan then continued to travel eastbound and came to a final resting place when it struck the side of the house located at 4442 Suntree Blvd.
Pound, the driver, was transported to the Winter Park Hospital with minor injuries.
Troopers said that alcohol played no role in the crash.
Pound was charged with careless driving.
