Men’s Tennis swept host Jones and surrendered just one game in a quick 7-0 victory over the Tigers en route to their third consecutive victory to open the season. Peter San Pedro, Cooper Vissers, Ajay Govindaraj and Marcelo Goncalves cruised to perfect 8-0 victories in lines one through four and Nicholas San Pedro picked up a forfeit victory in line five. In doubles competition, Nicholas San Pedro and Harrison Chau rolled to an 8-1 victory in line one while Isaac Tsai and Brett Fielder picked up a forfeit win in line two.
DP’s State Championshiip Competitive Cheerleading finished in second-place last weekend in the Small Varsity division at the UCA National Championship. This marks the fourth consecutive year DP has finished in the top three at the national championship. The Panthers finished second in 2010, first in 2011 and third last year.
