Dr. Phillips Center Unveils New Construction Fence with Student Artwork

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts unveiled a new construction fence Thursday, showcasing over 480 pieces of artwork created by students from Central Florida schools.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer joined the arts center team, students and faculty from area schools and local student performing arts groups to commemorate the occasion.

The unveiling marks the first of many events to celebrate the Center’s arts education initiatives. The construction fence is being sponsored by Mears Transportation Group.

The artwork on the construction fence was submitted by students – grades K-12 , and will remain in place throughout the entire construction process.
