Today, design renderings of CNL Arts Plaza, a centerpiece of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts landscape, will be unveiled downtown Orlando.
Named after neighboring CNL Financial Group in recognition of a planned $10 million gift, the CNL Arts Plaza will span one city block from Orange to Magnolia Avenue. The open space will be in front of the Dr. Phillips Center and will accommodate everything from outdoor performances to open air gatherings of people.
The design renderings will be unveiled at an event beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts will host a multi-day grand opening celebration from November 6-17, later this year.
