Dr. Phillips high school is well represented on the All Metro West Conference Teams:
Men’s Volleyball, seniors Logan Maladecki and Andrew Johnson were named to the All-Conference team and head coach April Ball was named Metro West Conference Coach of the Year.
Women’s Water Polo head coach Leo Ramirez was named Coach of the Year, seniors Rachel Dytrych, Mary Campbell and junior Meredith Canty were named to the All-Metro West team with senior Shannon MacNeil earning Honorable Mention.
Men’s Water Polo seniors Collin Brandt, Jack Orchard, Bruno Ferreira and Ryan Staton earned All-Metro West honors and Leo Ramirez earned Metro West Conference Coach of the Year.
Softball, under first-year coach Dani Perrotti, saw juniors Sarah Lang and Kaley Eastwood make the All-Metro West Conference team as well!
Tonight DP’s Flag Football team hosts Harmony in the final State Tournament play-in game at 7:00 pm. The winner will advance to the State Tournament up in Tallahassee beginning Friday. Tickets are $7.00 at the gate.
Men’s Volleyball also tips off District Tournament action as the top-seeded Panthers take on fourth-seeded host Olympia at 7:30. Tickets for the match will be $6.00 at the door.
