Brittany Niquette, 23 years old, who hit a law enforcement Officer and left the scene has been arrested. The incident happened on November 1st, on West Church Street.
Around 0107 hours a marked patrol car got behind Niquette’s vehicle and initiated a traffic stop utilizing emergency lights. However, Niquette refused to stop and turned south bound on S. Orange Avenue. Again, she was instructed to top, but continued south bound on S. Orange Avenue. Multiple marked cars eventually boxed her vehicle in and eventually the passenger in the car, Ian Leveroni reached over and put Niquette’s vehicle in park.
Niquette was removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest. She is charged with several counts including aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer and fleeing and eluding a police officer. A DUI test was initiated at the time of Niquette’s arrest.
