Double Shooting on Gaymar Drive Leaves Couple in Critical Condition

Deputies are investigating a double shooting Tuesday night that left a couple in critical condition.

Orange County investigators were called to the couple’s home on Gaymar Drive, off Clarcona Ocoee Road, just after 8:30 p.m., in response to shots fired inside the residence.

A resident of the home informed deputies that James D. Carr, 60, and Pamela T. Carr, 53, were inside a bedroom where the shots were heard.

An entry team located James and Pamela Carr inside the residence with life-threatening gunshot wounds.  Both were transported to a local area hospital and listed in critical condition.

Deputies have not said if the incident was an attempted murder-suicide.

That is all the information we have at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
