Stallworth’s Blood Test From Fatal Crash Expected In One Week

The results of a blood test taken from Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte’ Stallworth after a fatal crash Saturday won’t be ready before the end of the week, police said.

Stallworth, 28, driving a Bentley, struck Mario Reyes, 59, an overnight crane operator who was trying to cross the street to catch a bus home just after 7 a.m.

Officers drew Stallworth’s blood to test for drugs or alcohol, which is routine.

”This is still an open investigation,” said Detective Juan Sanchez, a Miami Beach police spokesman.

Miami Beach police are continuing their probe into Saturday’s deadly crash at the southeast end of the MacArthur Causeway near South Beach.
