District Shows Gains Across Grades 3-8 Mathematics, Grades 5 and 8 Science

Orange County Public Schools has received its 2021-22 test scores from the Florida Department of Education for the 2021-22 Florida spring test administration.

According to OCPS, the district’s overall achievement levels increased or remained the same in 16 of the 21 reported subject areas and grade levels from last year. Here are some comparisons between Orange County and statewide results:




The percentage of OCPS students scoring Level 3 or higher was above the state’s percentage in the following grade levels and subject areas:

  • Grade 3 ELA
  • Grade 3 Mathematics
  • Grade 4 Mathematics
  • Grade 7 Mathematics
  • Grade 5 Science
  • Grade 8 Science
  • U.S. History

The percentage of OCPS students scoring Level 3 or higher increased from 2021 to 2022 in the following grade levels and subject areas:

  • Grade 4 ELA
  • Grade 9 ELA
  • Grade 3 Mathematics
  • Grade 4 Mathematics
  • Grade 5 Mathematics
  • Grade 6 Mathematics
  • Grade 7 Mathematics
  • Grade 8 Mathematics
