New Smyrna Beach police are investigating the death of a 64-year-old woman whose body was found in her home on Wednesday.
Darlene Robertson’s body was reportedly found with several lacerations to her stomach and blunt force trauma to her head.
Robertson, who lived on Desoto Drive, was found by her son around 10:00 a.m.
Police are searching for her car, a tan 2006 Nissan Altima with tag number 803MBW, which is missing.
There are reports that a person of interest, Patrick Campbell, 27, is being sought by police for questioning.
