Orange County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the drowning death of a woman in the pool at the Silver Oaks Apartments on 3024 North Powers Drive, on Thursday afternoon.
According to OCSO:
At approximately 4:00 pm, July 1st, the Sheriff’s Office responded to the Silver Oaks Apartments in reference to an unresponsive adult female found floating in the apartment complex swimming pool. Bystanders pulled the victim out of the pool. Orange Fire Rescue responded to the call and transported the unconscious victim to Health Central Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
While the investigation is ongoing, deputies believe that the drowning was accidental and do not suspect foul play.
Detectives have not released the name of the deceased.
