Two people were shot during a home invasion on on Sunday night, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said.
It happened just before 8:00 p.m., on 3677 Sweet Grass Circle in Orlando.
Investigators said, two 18-year-old victims were going to their apartment, when they were confronted by two suspects, one displaying a handgun.
The victims were directed to enter their apartment and once inside, a struggle ensued for the firearm.
Multiple shots were discharged in the struggle, with one of the victims being wounded in the shoulder.
Investigators said, one of the suspects was also shot during the altercation, after which both fled the scene.
One suspect was located at Florida Hospital East and was transported to the Orlando REgional Medical Center for surgery. Deputies said, he is in stable condition.
Deputies have not released the names of the victims nor the suspects.
