Deputies are searching for a gunmen who shot into a car, wounding its female driver Sunday night, on Orange County’s east side.
Deputies say, the driver, in her 20s, along with two male passengers, had stopped near University High School, Kaylas Court and Eastwood Drive, just after 9:00 p.m., to check her GPS. Â That’s when three males in hoodies approached and pointed a laser into the vehicle.
One of the men fired several shots into the vehicle, one of which struck the female driver. She was taken to Florida Hospital East and is in stable condition. The male passengers were not hit.
All of the occupants in the vehicle are Hispanic and in their 20s, deputies said.
