Deputies Search for Suspects in Attack on Man Near Sanford

Deputies are searching for two suspects in an attempted homicide that happened in the unincorporated area of Sanford on Monday.

Seminole County investigators said, a 50-year-old white male, was beaten by two male suspects with a blunt instrument near Beardall Avenue and Lincoln Avenue, sometime around 6:30 p.m.

Investigators also believe that the victim was originally beaten inside his vehicle, a black SUV, then taken into the woods where there attack continued with the blunt instrument.

The victim was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he is currently in critical condition.

The suspects left the area in the victim’s vehicle which was abandoned a short distance away.

Deputies are looking for two Hispanice males, both around 20 years of age.

One of the men is about 5’8” and wearing blue denim shorts and no shirt.

The second man was 5’10″ feet tall.
