Orange County deputies are searching for four suspects after an armed bank robbery on Lee Road Wednesday afternoon.
Three suspects entered a Fifth/3rd Bank branch just before 3:00 p.m., said Jeff Williamson, Public Information Officer for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, in a written statement.
One of the suspects was armed with a shotgun while another was armed with a Tec-9 style handgun.
Investigators say, it is not clear if the third suspect was armed.
The suspects arrived in a black Nissan Altima with tinted windows, which was driven by an unknown fourth suspect.
The men fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No indication has been given as to whether any of the bank’s employees were injured in the armed robbery. It is also unclear if there were any customers in the bank at the time.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying the car or suspects in Wednesday’s robbery.
