Detectives said, on May 12, just after 5:00 a.m., an unknown white or Latin male suspect used a large paving stone to smash the front window of the Hungry Howie’s pizza restaurant located at 3002 Winter Lake Road in Winter Haven. Once inside, the suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled the scene.

Again, on July 6, just before 2:00 a.m., a man who appears to be similar entered the same Hungry Howie’s restaurant by smashing the front window, and removed money.

The suspect, seen on video surveillance, is described as a white or Latin male in his 20’s or 30’s. In the first incident, he was wearing a black T-shirt and pants, and an “Under Armour” brand baseball cap. In the second incident, he was wearing dark pants, a long-sleeved black shirt, and what appears to be a ball cap covered with a ski cap.
