A private airplane has crashed in a remote area in the Tiger Creek Swamp in Polk County, leaving no survivors sheriff’s deputies said Thursday.
According to news reports, three people died in the crash which occurred around 12:30 p.m.
Law enforcement officials and medical staff have been helicoptered into the location because of the remote and rural nature of the terrain. Four wheelers are also being used to get to the crash site.
No other details are available at this time.
