A 62-year-old man was shot dead on Orange County’s west side on Monday night.
The shooting happened in the 2200 block of Eiffel Drive in Pine Hills around 8:30 p.m., deputies say.
Investigators arrived at the location to find the man’s body in the garage and they believe that the killer is his 49-year-old girlfriend. The man was visiting the home at the time of the shooting and doesn’t live there, according to news reports.
The man’s girlfriend was taken into custody, without incident.
The names of the deceased or the likely shooter have not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
