A man was shot multiple times on Riviera Drive off North Lane in the Pine Hills area on Sunday afternoon, and deputies believe that the victim and suspect(s) are known to each other.
According to Orange County Sheriff’s deputies, around 5:00 pm, on Sunday, detectives were called to Riviera Drive off North Lane and observed a red and tan vehicle fleeing the scene. Deputies also found a black male victim on the ground with multiple non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center.
While the investigation is at an early stage, detectives believe that the suspect(s) and victim are known to each other. They do not have a motive yet in the shooting incident and it is not clear if it is gang-related. The victim’s name has not been released.
Deputies are continuing with their investigation.
