A man who drove his truck into a house on Bonneville Road on Wednesday, then stabbed a woman inside multiple times, is expected to be charged with aggravated battery.
Orange County Sheriff’s deputies received a 911 just after 12:00 noon, advising that a man had driven his truck through a house in the 1900 block on Bonneville Road, then kicked in the front door.
After deputies arrived at the house, a Hispanic woman came out of the home badly injured with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds. She was removed from the scene and taken to a local area hospital for treatment.
Deputies then made several attempts to contact the suspect inside the home, but were unsuccessful.
The Orange County SWAT team was called to the residence and upon entering, found the man injured. He was taken into custody without incident.
Investigators believe the incident to be a domestic one, with the suspect being either the ex-husband or ex-boyfriend of the victim.
Neither the suspect nor the victim has not been identified.
Deputies said, 14 homes in the area were evacuated at the time.
The investigation is ongoing.
